I watch a lot of comedy. I mean, a lot. And I was firstly a fan of Daniel Muggleton's work when I approached him with my showreel :) I have been editing his clips for a while now.
The work consists of editing, audio repairing, colour grading, motion graphics, captioning and exporting to different formats. There's plenty of creative editing involved, and that is always fun.
We have reached record viewing - sometimes over 20x - for some of the clips compared to the average of previous material.
Comedy is about timing. So is video editing.
The first clip I edited on the image above is 'Brayden Sports Scientist' which generated 130K views, over 28x the number of views of its predecessor, then 'Why'd You Call Him That' which stayed within the viewing average, and then 'She's Not Your Wife?' reaching 148K views.
