One for the fans

A huge project for which I was the character, level and interface designer, animator and sound designer. It was quite a challenge to roll out a mobile game for iOS and Android, but extremely rewarding.

The main character is based on Brazilian TV and Movie star Sergio Mallandro.

Given Mallandro has been on the media since the 80s, I wanted the game not only to resemble Brazil but also to have a retro vibe, paying homage to some of the games from the 80s and 90s such as Alex Kidd and California Games.

Check out the video showing some of the gameplay plus the coverage made by IGN Brazil that went to Sergio's house and had him playing the game on screen.

The game rated 4.5+ stars on both App Store and Google Play. It was a massive hit amongst his fanbase.
